Using WinChart and Understanding Variation

WinChart is the easy-to-use statistical process control (SPC) software for control charts, also known as Process Behaviour Charts. This is the course for those who want to get up to speed rapidly both with better measurement and better interpretation of data using control charts for business improvement.

WinChart is very easy to use but it does require an understanding of the underlying principles of variation in order to avoid making damaging decisions about the processes producing the data.

Therefore, the full course assumes no prior understanding of variation and will integrate the use of WinChart into the wider improvement context.

The full course is an initial two-day workshop, followed by a period of email and telephone support and then after six to eight weeks there is a further day of review and consolidation. For those with sufficient prior knowledge, the length of the course can be reduced if required.
