Using WinChart and Understanding Variation

WinChart is the easy-to-use statistical process control (SPC) software for control charts, also known as Process Behaviour Charts. This is the course for those who want to get up to speed rapidly both with better measurement and better interpretation of data producing control charts in Winchart for business improvement.

WinChart has been tailored specifically for Statistical Process Control. WinChart can diagnose your control charts, looking for special cause variation: consecutive points above/below mean line and points out of control.

WinChart is very easy to use but it does require an understanding of the underlying principles of variation in order to avoid potentially damaging misinterpretation of the data. Therefore, the full course assumes no prior understanding of variation and will integrate the use of WinChart into the wider improvement context.

The full course consists of an initial two-day workshop, followed by a six to eight week period of email and telephone support and then a further day of review and consolidation. For those with sufficient statistical grounding the presentation can be reduced.
